we caught a little spider earlier today in the bathroom. because of the ongoing discussion about the yellow sack spiders in austria (cheiracanthium punctorium, dornfinger) we tried to determine what type our little friend was of ... no chance ... so he was released to the garden ... still it gave us creeps as spiders always do.

... but i've the feeling that the elder people in my district (and there's quite a bunch of them, the 13th district of vienna has the oldest community in the whole country) see it a little different and will write tons of letters of complaint about the decline of culture and the waste of taxpayer's money ...

hey, it's still sunny and hot outside and visitors from all over the world come to see beautiful vienna - or at least the bits prepared for them like honeytraps for bees. no criticism from my side, just funny to observe.

it's quite interesting how people from other countries, aka "the tourists", see your hometown and create their own impressions as a souvenir. i guess there are shots of sights which simply have to be taken and which don't differ much from each other, except for the people in it.
